I commented on the video itself, but it bears repeating here: you guys knocked it out of the park with this one. It's a really good tutorial, and explains almost every facet of the game clearly and concisely. Very well done.

Thanks Munin. Appreciate it. WE still messed up the assault. We should have fallen back 6" for losing by 1 then broke, but in the end it didn't matter as we rolled enough on the break roll to get off the board without the extra 6".

Another great video - for newbies like myself they are both informative (even with mistakes) and inspiring - always truly friendly competition and good sportsmanship. Thanks.

I find it so fascinating how CoC creates a completely different game mentality. Not a great start to the campaign for the Russians but those were some very lucky dice rolls!

I've never seen save rolls go so well in a game. The amount of fire the Germans were able to withstand was impressive.

That said, the weight of fire that PanzerGrenadiers can throw out is frightening, and if the game devolves to a static shoot-out, the advantage will usually shift in their favor. Consider that in both soft and hard cover the percentage of hits that are kills are the same, and it is only the Shock that is doubled. This means that so long as the German player has sufficient leaders available to handle the excess Shock, they'll win the "weight of numbers" game eventually. And if you roll like Travis was, sooner rather than later!

getting into soft cover in that first one made the difference.

Just watched these and your Tarawa game, and they were all very well done. Interesting to see the Germans attacking (well, sort of) for a change, having previously watched your "29th, let's go!" and "Operation Martlet" PSCs (and really enjoyed both of them, too!).

Really looking forward to more reports on the Citadel games.

The next two battles in Storming the Citadel are now complete, as well as a bonus game of What a Tanker! tacked onto the end of the second video. :D
