Yes, a normal can that holds vegetables is almost, not quite, but dang near 3 inches across. Place said can (full or empty) on a section of upholstery batting the Mrs no longer has a need for (this is critical, make real sure she's done with it) and sharpie around the can.

I still have to tint it yet, but mostly white I think is valid. My vehicle marking smoke definitely needs coloring.
