Yes indeed tho I suspect if they were not rated as diehards it might have been a different story 😀

Thanks, glad everyone enjoyed it. If nothing else it shows you can pack a good narrative in a four map campaign. I like the way there was a good variety in each scenario, it’s easy to think of a Far East campaign being about jungle, jungle and more jungle, but Mark B did a good job mixing things up and provides some good food for thought on how to design other campaigns.

Another cracking campaign! Really tense finish, and well-told as always!

Great account as always and a truly nail-biting finish! A very fitting end to a hard fought campaign on both sides. I really enjoyed the sense of tension and drama in the room-to-room fighting in the factory - it seems rare to see those kinds of actions in most scenarios and AARs, so good to see it even in such a surprising setting as the Malay jungle! And your account expertly captures the gritty sense of such close-quarters combat.

Actually this brings up a point, there is lots of terrain for the Far East that does not involve Jungle at all.
Central Burma, Parts of Hong Kong and Singapore/Malaya, most of China, parts of Guadalcanal and Saipan.
and Imphal after the artillery blasted everything looked more like WWI Western Front
