Do Perry ever do sales?

Post by DougM »

Just what it says on the tin. I want to add Italians to my CoC collection, and I am tossing up between the Perry & Empress figures.

I don't think so - I buy a lot of Perry Napoleonics and I don't recall them ever having a sale.

They may sometimes do small deals for multiple boxes of plastics but I think it is more often a limited edition figure that they give away.

Yep, that's my recollection as well. Ok. I still have an unpainted lead pile. Just have to decide whether my US paras are for D-Day or Market Garden.

If you're eyeing Italians consider Gaddis Gaming as well, they have a nice selection of poses.

I did have a look at them, but the postage and additional customs charges put the cost up to a ridiculous amount. Sadly, I no longer order anything from the US.

I think they've done "specials" at Salute. One year they did it with the plastics, fifteen quid a box I vaguely remember. It's hard to be precise because even though I saw plenty of chums with bags full they were glassy eyed and gibbering as a result...

I've seen Dave Thomas do specials on their plastics, and at shows you can often pick up 3 boxes for 50. But if it's Italians, then I reckon I will go the Empress pack deals.

Yes they are. And mighty fine they are too ;)
If in doubt I‘d always go Hicks over Perrys but that‘s just my odd taste

Beware of the Gaddis Gaming stuff...those used to be the old school Battler Honors 25s. I used to order a ton of the stuff from OG15s...then they sold the line. These guys broke up the 10 figure packs into smaller groups and increased the prices...what a shame!
