Well, many hands make light work.. on the other hand(s) - too many cooks spoil the brothRichard wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 8:14 amMorning all. Just a bit of an update. Great to see the enthusiasm for O Group. We are currently well advanced in the layout stage. Dave and I have a meeting today to run through the latest reiteration. I appreciate the impatience, but it's not just a case of dumping the words onto parer and sending it to the printer. It takes time to ensure that everything is covered correctly and, equally importantly, presented in a manner that makes it as simple to read and understand as possible. Infamy went through nearly 30 different layout stages, by way of example. Please bear with us on this as we are trying to make this as good as possible.
To be precise, Henry has done the initial layout. It came back to me and I worked through it all. It then went to Dave. It's now back with me. Today Dave and I have our meeting, then it's back to Henry for what should be a final layout polish. The intention is to have it with the printer before Christmas for a release as soon as the Christmas postage issue is resolved.
I can assure you that I am as keen as you are. I'm painting up my forces and building my terrain when I get a free moment.
Rich

I can wait, especially if it means less errors in the final version.

It might be a bit early to think about this , but what are the predictions for the new year and Reisswitz press?
Scenarios supplements for Pickets Charge, 'O' group ,GDA or something completely different?

Without committing to any time scale its:
a) Leipzig mini-campaign (Ney's corps from Weissenfels to Leipzig) for GdA,
b) Normandy Breakout scenarios for OG, and possibly
c) Richmond mini-campaign for PC.

Modelling Battalion HQ
I'm planning to model 15mm BHQ using a large FOW base.
I've seen the photo posted CTP99 with the BHQ having space for a dice to track Battalion orders.
To determine the amount of space to leave for the dice, is there a maximum number of orders a battalion can have?
I'm thinking of leave space for a D10 or do I only need to leave space for a D6?
Regards

I am going with the counters method.
If I see a die on the table.no matter what size or colour at some point I WILL pick it up.and roll it!
