By "next Thursday" do you mean May 18th or 25th? Either way I should be able to make it. Shakespeare's?

Presumably the 25th. Well, I say presumably, I mean hopefully as I'm busy, tomorrow...

I may be able to do something on the 25th, but won't know for certain until that date due to confusing holiday plans.

Having spoken to Tom off-forum, the issue we have for getting a game going is space – something that is at a premium in Crookes houses. Rocking up at Shakespeare's with everything may not go down too well, unless you're just talking about a pint?

lol sorry yeah I meant the 25th.

Is central the best place for everyone? I'm not sure which pubs might have a free room?

1) Roughly how many people might be able to come along?

2) Shall we try and get a game of something going? If so who might be able to run something? I might be able to cobble together either my very first gane of CoC or my cardboard version of Dux if anyone would be interested.

I may be able to do the 25th but, as I mentioned, I won't know for certain until the last minute, I'm afraid.

I was assuming we might meet up to plan possible games/events. I have a venue and some thoughts about a possible event but would like to hear others' views.

A pint my actually be quicker to organisae and easier to fit into the evening. Would be good to meet up and discuss common ground, games etc.

I think I could get out for a pint next Thursday.

Where are we thinking? Half of the frequent posters in the thread are in Crookes... jus' sayin'.

I'm in Storrs - between Stannington and Dungworth. As a result I'd have to drive wherever we met up. Crookes works as well as anywhere for me.

I don't know any of the Crookes pubs particularly well but I'd put in a Vote for the Hallamshire on Commonside - it's more Walkley than Crookes but not too far away.

I'm happy with the Hallamshire – a very short walk.

The Hallamshire works for me too.

So to summarise: The Hallamshire pub, Common side. 25th May, 20:00.

Topic - Drink beer, plan gaming, drink beer.

Assuming that's all good for everyone then see you there =).
