close combat

Hi some questions about close combat:
Can you initiate close combat with more than one squad?
Do commissars and big men count as 1 figure?
Is the bonus given by the big men only applied when the big men is activating the squad like in firing?
One of the possible actions to do with a big man is initiate close combat, what is the purpose of this as you can activate a squad (in range etc...) that can initiate cc itself?
Or are we missing something?

Yes: you can lead more than one squad into Close Combat: any unit roughly within 4" of contact.
No: you just use their level.
No: anytime they are in combat.
Big Men can charge on their own if they want to!
