Wor Lard 2017

Post by JimLeCat » Wed Jan 04, 2017 8:47 pm

Hi,

Wor Lard strike three will be taking place on Saturday March 25th at Durham Wargames Group.

I will run from about 9:30 in the morning till about 5 in the afternoon. There is no charge for attending, just let me know you want to come, and no requirement to bring anything other than yourself, although offers to put games on are welcome.

I am currently organising the initial schedule of games and will post updates as arrangements are made, although I can say that Rich has already confirmed and games provisionally arranged include SP2/FIW and Dux Brit in the Trojan Wars.

Cheers,
Jim

I'm quite interested, Jim, do you have any more details?

Hi,

The confirmed games now include 3 SP2 games (FIW, something in the Peninsular from Rich and the Retreat From Moscow), Dux Brit in the Trojan Wars and a SCW CoC game, with a session of What a Tanker over lunch. I'm looking at additional games at the moment.

I can still fit you in if you let me know you want to come.

Cheers,
Jim

More the expression on the face of the fresh off the boat British Commander when he learns of his mission. :D

Hi,

Yes, don't worry about that, we've a fair amount of space which I haven't (quite!) filled yet. I've just added another game (IABSM) tonight and I'm looking at what else will fit in. What would you like to play? A lot of people haven't decided yet, so let me know now and you have a shot at getting whatever you want! ;^D

Cheers,
Jim

Ha ha ha! I'm like a bairn that's been told he can have the run of the sweet shop and doesn't know where to start :D SCW CoC sounds good but do does Homeric Dux (actually, maybe that doesn't sound quite good :) ) but anyway, how soon do you need to know and also, do I need to get a bus from Durham train station or is it a matter of a good, brisk walk in stout leather brogues to the club event?
