Having seen the spirit of lard so well displayed in the titles of
UK Lardy Games Days , I am wondering if we Australian champions of lard should not reflect similarly. My understanding is that there are now two reasonably regular Lardy Games Days in Oz - as part of CanCon and MOAB. So, to get the ball rolling, some suggestions:
Sunburnt Lard - probably appropriate for CanCon
Lard of Sweeping Plains - ditto
Wizard of Lard - perhaps for MOAB, given it is in the Emerald City
Girt by Lard - again for MOAB being in the Sutherland Shire and so almost surrounded by water

Picking up on that last theme, my wife has chipped in with:
and perhaps beyond the pale for so many reasons...
But she's also a big fan of "It's a Lard way to the top..."

Oh - nice one... I do like that. But it doesn't have a sub-heading like '.. if you want a sausage roll'. And as a bonus, you get bagpipe music as well

Truly inspired! And opens up a run of:
and perhaps pushing it too far...
