South American Wars of Liberation - The war in the south

So for our first game of SP2 I took out my South American war of Liberation minis, mostly Liberators! minis, with a few others mixed in. The lists are not the ones available online since these are the armies of San Martin and not Bolivar. I did a first pass on the lists but I still have more work to...

leaders, movement, flank attack questions

We played our first game last weekend using South American war of independence armies, though the Chile campaign, not the Bolivar one that currently has online lists. If I may ask: why would the buildings look latin american ?... does anyone make Latin American buildings ( for a particular period ) in 28mm ? and do people use them as Spanish ?

Very curious...

Re: Spanish Civil War

Thanks... most of the conversations on one team sections and activations I've seen and have a good understanding of it.. however see that in your organization you could have 2 x 10 man "units" that activate on a dice roll of a "2" and that report to the same Junior Leader... independent teams ( like HMG teams ) within 4" of other team

So when an HMG support team for example, is 4" close and same cover to another friendly team I've been distributing hits among them as per the rules... however I've not considered the total number of men when it comes to shock.. meaning if the HMG team has4 crew 5 shock will pin them even if they ar...

Re: Spanish Civil War

I thought the mods worked pretty well.. A couple of things I had to interpret, for example, even though the militia 10 guy units activate on 2s I assumed it as a team wiped out and only considered section wiped out when all three where killed.. Also on a three I only allowed the junior officer to de...
