Re: Any changes to the British Malaya Lists?

I think the Japanese would also have the type 94 and type 97 Tankette available and as you say no armoured cars.

I believe the majority of AC were left in China.

Re: Patrol markers near the edge of the table

Swift to Support in the Blitzkrieg book but it is the attacker that starts in the corner and the defender can close him down quickly

Re: Can a vehicle senior leader order a deployment?

Also vica versa? An infantry SL influences the die roll on deploying a vehicle? We have always played they do but realistically maybe not. I agree with Neil some intersting points raised by this discussion and it is only 'gamey' in the sense it is discussing game rules. I don't think anyone is tryi...

Re: Can a vehicle senior leader order a deployment?

Sorry Oldnick I don't think this thread is getting gamey yet I actually think it has some interesting discussion points. I agree the game is structured around a single platoon with the exception of Big CoC, and normally a platoons SL or an attached adjutant controls deployment. My comment about a Ve...

Re: Can a vehicle senior leader order a deployment?

I will try and be clearer

Lets say you have an infantry platoon with one SL who has deployed. Could a Vehicle SL count as an off table SL for deployment purposes under 4.3?

I would say yes to his vehicles but no to any other support the infantry platoon may have.

Re: Can a vehicle senior leader order a deployment?

On a slightly different note could a vehicle SL count as a SL for deployment onto the table purposes?
I would say yes for his own Vehicles and any support he may be in charge of but I would say no to the infantry platoon and its assets he may be supporting.

Re: When is a unit pinned

There is also no need to declare all your actions at once either. You can pick up one dice and declare what you are doing. If it was a SL directing two different squads you can still say he is getting this squad to fire with his first pip, do the shooting then say he will get this next squad to fire...

Re: AFV machine gun

Not to mention pretty.

Hmm I have had a look at the Coculator and am actually unsure how to cost a MMG in support points or even a Squad for that matter.
