Re: Anyone working on 1939 Japanese?

I agree TT from my reading not really used a tactic , more a western generalisation popularised by various forms of media over the years

Re: Visibility into building

I do not think they are too vulnerable they already have the officers 1 in 6 chance to kill but the other bad effects don't worry them as they dont have CI to lose etc. From what I have read FOO were a prime target and heough binoculars were fairly easy to pick out. Have book on US ones somewhere w...

Re: TTS - would anyone like to play online?

I bought the Simulator in the half price sale so $14. The CoC add ons are free TT. I helpeda couple of Bolt Action players with a game of Chain a couple of days ago as I was talking to them while they streamed it. I have been mucking around with it my self just getting used to the controls. Yes both...

Re: Scenario Win Conditions

Rich has previously confirmed that forcing the defender to withdraw in Scenario 4 counts as a victory for the attacker even if they have not yet reached the objective. They can move to occupy it after the attacker withdraws. That generally removes any ambiguity. While it can be tricky to place a ti...

Re: Scenario Win Conditions

Yes forcing the enmy moral down to zero is (almost) always a win, certainly in the standard rule book scenarios. I agree apart from Scenario four. We have sometimes decided this one on a dice roll. If multiple turns have past and the attacker eventually breaks the defender at significant cost we ha...

Re: Stuka Shock

I think c0cky30 knows how it works MLB, he is suggesting to not deploy your troops until the second turn, which can be quite early sometimes. I have seen the German player roll 3 x sixes on his first set of dice a couple of times. However I have also seen games when the turn never ends. So while it ...

Re: FG42 on FSJ platoons?

From memory the last discussion I saw Rich classified them as assault rifles. I personally think the BAR is a better fit and as mentioned above it/they replace the MG42 in the section. You are also looking at very late 43 onwards for use. Still they are a nice looking weapon that will add some great...
