Re: Dux Arda: Lard of the Rings

Lots of new stuff on the blog now. I just posted Thranduil's Realm to the blog now. At this point, I only have to finish Dale and Lothlorien.

Re: Random thought/s on close combat

One thing to think about is that many of those kills, especially for the loser, are there to represent men being shot as they break away or being permanently isolated during the engagement. Re: Australian Sniper, Flamethrower, 2 Inch Mortar, Anit-Tank Rifle, FO and Medic in the PACIFIC.

As always John, these look fantastic. The conversion work and painting are both superb. The only shame is that the Perry's don't make Japanese to scale with them. I'm probably going to hold out for Warlord to make some new British infantry to replace their sub par offering currently. Then I can use ...

Re: Far East, Far East? Jungle terrain? Oddcast perk up

Personally, I do think there is less interest in the theater, but I don't think it's justified from a historical perspective. There were so many different nations, locations, and types of battle that would make for a great wargame. Especially if you look at it with platoon level skirmish in mind. I ...
