Re: Downorder Podcast comparison

Sam and Dave are suspect characters at the best of times... I've been on a couple and they are pretty epic in lengt. It's more like recording conversations in the pub about a specific topic and the guests (like me and Dave) tend to ramble on until Sam nudges us back onto topic. They are very i...

Re: Winter War and Finnish Roadblocks

Log roadblocks would take ages to clear; they weren't (always) just a pile of logs. A proper log roadblock would be a formidable obstacle, they also mined them to prevent clearing. In the forward battle area you would not be clearing one without significant effort, you'd need explosives to move them...

This effectively makes them invulnerable. 29 lets go has special rules for hedges. Discuss the hedges you have befor...

Re: Force Morale Query

As above, our games are rarely more than 2-3 hours max with one side (mine usually) with no FM left. When a FM trigger is reached you roll immediately, it doesn't need to be in a single phase. Usually you have a squad get a bit bogged, then the fire intensifies on them and the FM rolls start in earn...

Re: Force Morale Query

If you are playing a campaign it'll most likely be set by the scenario. In a pickup game that previous contact is represented by the FM variation.

If you don't like it then agree beforehand what t should be!
