Re: Loss of support unit question.

thanks oozeboss - that game probably used up all my good die throws for the rest of the year! Guys in my club won't use a die that I have touched which gives you an idea of my dice luck!

Loss of support unit question.

I managed to kill the FO of my opponent and we assumed that was the same as "Support Unit Killed". On the next turn, I damaged his IG18 (3 D6s on the to hit roll) with no loss to the crew. My opponent argued that since it was not destroyed and the crew were still alive it did not cause a roll on the...

Re: Campaign casualties question

Thinking about this, Why wouldn't the total casualties whether wounded, dead or POWs affect the morale of the survivors? After all the guy in the trenches only sees that his buddy is gone and that a lot of others have gone - They don't think to themselves "Well he is only a POW" or He is only lightl...

Re: 29 Lets Go support question

We played it yesterday with the Pak 40 in place and the Germans having to pay for it. The US had the 25 points but could not beat the Germans starting off with 2 CoC die and gaining a third one rapidly. The D6 throws of 1s kiled the US. The Germans rolled a lot of them when rolling for saves and the...

29 Lets Go support question

Germans won La Cambe but elected to stay in position and gave US initiative to attack over same ground. Scenario requires that their PAK 40 stays on the table. Can they use it in 2nd scenario? Do they have to pay points for it again or do they just get their 12 points?

Re: Casualties in Campaigns

Thanks John - here is another same campaign The Germans won in La Cambe but elected to stay where they were and gave me t(The US) the initiatve to attack. They had a Pac 40 with one casualty. Do they have to keep that Pak 40 where it was in the previous game (They have no prime carriers to take it o...

Re: Campaign casualties question

Where is the rule stated that casualties to a "Non-core" unit such as AT gun crews are not counted?

Casualties in Campaigns

In reading other gamer's AARs about the Pint Sized campaigns, I often came across the statement that " as the dead are not from the core platoon, that is no bother". Does that mean that you do not carry losses on supports from scenario to scenario? For instance in the 29 Lets go campaign we have sta...

Re: Problems with Terrain representation in CoC Mini-Campaig

I am not trying to dictate anything. I would ask Rich to use all his own symbols. The ones he actually uses in his scenarios - not ones from some standard. Thus the symbols would be what he is familiar with in his own map creating program. Words would work ok as well. Just that somewhere in each cam...
