I had a dream........

Things are bad when you start dreaming about this game! I awoke to a very pleasant feeling that I had completely destroyed my opponent after a very frustrating campaign and then realized that it was just a dream. I had the initiative as attacker and rolled 1,4,5,6,6. I brought on my FO and a SLdr, t...

The Funnies

I note rules for the various "funnies" that modified tanks from about D Day on. But there is no cost for Up(?) grading one's tanks to a "funny" such as a flail tank. Nor do I see them mentioned in any of the Pint Size Campaign books. I have a perfect application (I think) in a 29 Lets Go campaign, a...

Pint Sized Campaign Question

What happens when the commanding officer's opinion reaches 12? A new commander is assigned starting over at 0? OR He can go no higher and only lower? OR what? Does his men retain the +3 support they acheived on the way to that exalted position?

Re: Close Combat Question

"Rich clarified some of this on the Yahoo group a while back. I'll see if I can find it."

That would be great, Thanks. y opponent will not accept any rulings except those by Rich himself!

Close Combat Question

After an hour's search of both the CoC files and the Yahoo group files I could not find ANY discussion of this situation. (NOTE: an improved search engine is required - entering "close combat" returned no results in the COC topics, yet there were several with that title when searched item to item)! ...

Re: Loss of support unit question.

thanks oozeboss - that game probably used up all my good die throws for the rest of the year! Guys in my club won't use a die that I have touched which gives you an idea of my dice luck!

Loss of support unit question.

I managed to kill the FO of my opponent and we assumed that was the same as "Support Unit Killed". On the next turn, I damaged his IG18 (3 D6s on the to hit roll) with no loss to the crew. My opponent argued that since it was not destroyed and the crew were still alive it did not cause a roll on the...

Re: Campaign casualties question

Thinking about this, Why wouldn't the total casualties whether wounded, dead or POWs affect the morale of the survivors? After all the guy in the trenches only sees that his buddy is gone and that a lot of others have gone - They don't think to themselves "Well he is only a POW" or He is only lightl...

Re: 29 Lets Go support question

We played it yesterday with the Pak 40 in place and the Germans having to pay for it. The US had the 25 points but could not beat the Germans starting off with 2 CoC die and gaining a third one rapidly. The D6 throws of 1s kiled the US. The Germans rolled a lot of them when rolling for saves and the...
