Re: Home Guard List

I cannot thank Pat G & his collaborators enough for their sterling service on this project. Being an ardent Dads Army tragic since year dot (and having been given the full series for Fathers Day this year), I am now focused very much on collecting and developing troops and terrain in order to stage ...

Re: Bois Des Caures Campaign

As per usual, yet another visually compelling and mentally stimulating presentation. That whole alien and uncompromising terrain utterly spooks me, and it reinforces to me why so many former soldiers subsequently committed suicide in the early thirties. It is truly PTSD inducing. And yet again, many...

Re: Norway 1940

As it took Germany longer to conquer Norway than every other country it invaded (with the obvious and notable exception of the USSR), I too would love to see a list for this wonderful country.

Re: VBCW COC

Having recently discovered my 16yo's predilection for Early War ETO gaming, I have put my beloved Japanese into an obviously collective meditative trance (it's a Zen thing, but also temporary) while I now embrace a gaming world of Fallshirmjagers and Dad's Army and slide ever further down the slippe...

Re: The Emergency - Eire in WWII

I'm rapidly getting sucked into the whole Unternehmen Seelöwe / VBCW genre these days, so Unternehmen Grün fits into my whole gaming perspective perfectly. I think that the potential is limitless, and I say keep the Vickers helmets and be damned ;) (confusion being the icing on the cake for wargames...

Re: Video footage of our Chain of command game

Visually spectacular in every sense, and the music you chose was quite moving (although the shooting overlay rapidly became annoying). A fantastically presented game, Sir. Games which look like this one are our hobby's greatest selling point, and we have far too few of them up on the net and widely ...

Re: Guaduacanal army lists?

The CoC army list posted for the Japanese in Malaya certainly translates well for the Nankai Shitai which fought in Papua at the time of the Guadalcanal campaign, and as it was the Japanese 17th Army HQ in Rabaul which controlled both forces, it should also match up pretty well for your requirements.
