Re: 1813 Prussians

I would have thought that a few of the line regiments would have qualified as veteran, especially those that served in Russia. They mightn’t have done a lot of fighting there, but they did a lot of marching that would have sorted out the wheat from the chaff.

Re: Review of General d'Armee

I would agree Duke, that’s about the number we use and I would agree about the time. That suits me fine - there are plenty of other games designed to allow people toplay quick games in an hour.

Re: Review of General d'Armee

As a long time GdeB player, I regarded GdeA as an improvement to those rules. I think that the title is slightly misleading. It would be better titled GdeDivision as there is still a level of granularity that shouldn’t be there for an army level game.

Re: Brigade sizes

why does every set of rules 'need' army lists?

In reality infantry brigades should be a minimum three battalions, cavalry two regiments. just make these a minimum and it should stop people gaming the system.

Re: Brigade sizes

to be honest, we have one player do the scenario with both players picking a side at random, so there is no point setting up unrealistic OBs

SP2 Formats?

Gents, I can't see any word from Rich on the formats for SP2? Will there be a pdf version or just a soft back or hardback?
