Mikey I used the cliff example merely as an example - of course most of the time they would simply be moving more easily over obstacles etc. I think the Marching Fire businees is out of character for troops who were supposed to use stealth - one of the several qualifications for calling them special...

I have been attempting to put together a list for the period 1942-1945.
