Re: Bloody Bremen Germans

I think the general consensus is that from 1944 and beyond, Fallschirmjager are only regular not elite. Volksturm should be green

Re: APC and close combat question

Tanks and vehicles capturing JOP’s is covered in the FAQ’s where Rich confirms vehicles can both shut down and capture them.

Re: House rules for double moves and single sixes.

I have no problem with the rules as written and of the many games i’ve played only once has a run of extra phases proved decisive. However having played a few games with Rich, he only allows a maximum of 3 phases - if a 4th is rolled then the player gets a CoC dice instead and their go ends. Remembe...

Re: Merits of Militia. Overpowered?

If represented properly, militia should have lower quality leaders (lvl 1) and fewer or more expensive characteristics (eg SP, crashing volley etc). This will mean in a firefight Militia will struggle with shock and after a period will be taking more Bad Things Happen tests including for a formation...

Mk Vi's cannot capture JOP's IIRC
Also MK VI's ca only fire 1 weapon at a time too.
Is there a specific rule for Mk VI’s not capturing JOP’s as point 7.6 of the FAQ’s specifically says tanks can capture and close down JOP’s?

Re: Battles of the 100 Days - Scenarios

For those not on Twitter, Rich tweeted yesterday that he was working his way through the GDA 100 days scenario book.

Not long now would be my guess!

Re: Hard copy or PDF

Both.

PDF for reference work, reading in bed, taking on holidays, while designing scenarios etc.

Hard copy at the table while playing.

i.e. what Mike W said!!

Re: FO team caught in own barrage - what happens?

There's nothing stopping the FOO under the barrage to activate and call to stop the barrage. I wouldn't allow the FOO to "walk" the barrage away from him though as he has no line of site and it's cheesy! As the FOO is a "team" shouldn't he roll far casualties separately and if there are, then dice t...

Re: Walking a Smoke Barrage!

Hi guys, It was a leading question because of a gamey tactic I faced in one of my early games for the probe scenario. My opponent put down a smoke barrage and walked it to the table edge AFTER he had driven a tank into the smokescreen and then moved the tank inside the smoke barrage so I couldn't se...
