Re: Gembloux Gap Lard Tv Support lists?

Probably the easiest answer is to invest in the Gembloux Gap Pint Size Campaign- at only £5.40 it’s great value. Broadly though the support choice options are a sub set from the generic Blitzkreig 1940 lists reflecting what was available historically to the French. So no Char 1 bis!

Re: Leaning from windows

Rich has already answered this in the FAQ'a. This is his answer:- Q If I lean out of a window to shoot, how long am I out for? A: You are leaning out until you do something different, or the Turn ends. So, if you lean out of a window to fire but are not then activated for a number of Phases, you are...

Re: How Do I Obtain a Copy of These Rules?

Rich only acted as the distributor for Dr Phil Hendry who wrote the rules and they were only ever in PDF. I think that agreement has ended. I see Dr Hendry started an A2A blog but there have been no posts since 2014. Rich May be able to put you in contact with Dr Hendry but remember Rich is away on ...

Re: Close Combat 4 x dice to enemy player

JimLeCat is quite correct to point out that in the rules as written Rout is different to Breaking. Interestingly even Rich has mixed the terms up as in the BTH table he refers to sections and teams breaking but only testing for Support Units routing! By this strict reading using John’s scenario what...

Re: Close Combat 4 x dice to enemy player

My take on the questions 1. yes and roll on the BTH table for section routs. 2. Only 1 rout move so no doesn’t continue to rout. 3. The section has 10 men and 8 points of shock so it isn’t pinned. Therefore it can activate on a 2 and move or fire remembering that any move will be reduced by 8” or fi...

Strong lads those BEF Brits! 😂

Watched Rich redeploy a 57mm US ATG when the Panzers headed off road to stay out of the line of Fire! 🤔

Re: Weight of ATG's

Err both - Rich has assessed that the 2pdr is not a light gun ( which it would ar first appear by its size) but that moving it is not so difficult as to be treated as heavy. Medium seems about right to me so it is academic as to how they move the gun rather than that they can move it whether by lift...

Re: Breaking units returning and broken again

Just get the leaders away so they don’t rout off the table or the unit gets wiped out!

Re: Weight of ATG's

Looking at the Blitzkrieg Handbook, the 2pdr is rated as a medium gun and without getting into the mechanics, by the rules as written, this means by virtue of 7.4.1 it rolls 2 dice for movement, discarding the lower.
