Single leader in close combat question

We had a senior leader run down by a squad. He threw 8 dice they 16. The inevitable happened and he lost with 5 kills to his 4.

So he was hit automatically? But still rolls wounds. Does he roll once or 5 times?

Re: Just a Bit More Winter War

Couldn't you just bring up another tank and push it off the road? A BT-7 or T-26 is going to have a hell of a time pushing a T-28! Just saying... The trucks where my real limitation. In retrospect, I should not have gone into the forest (deep and dark) to take on the Finns. I should have hunkered d...

Re: Just a Bit More Winter War

I was beat like a red headed stepchild. That early immobilization of my T-28 jammed the road and forced my infantry into trying to walk.

Well played John

Re: Sharpening IABSM

Yes, thanks! I want to play with it and see how it goes but I really like how SP works.

Re: What have I missed - AWI Terrain

‘‘Tis the season for corn fields.” The source of the BFT corn fields is cheap Chinese Christmas wreathes. You can find them in dollar stores, craft shops. Effectively a spool of dark green oversized pipe cleaners. Also consider mounting them on cards a stand width wide. As troops march or fire throu...

Sharpening IABSM

There was a Special (I'm not sure which) that had a modification of IABSM! Using the chip/card rules of SP, and applying it to IABSM! The key is the use of the flag chips/cards and the allowance to activate any unit you wish. Has anyone played with this? I'm a big fan of CoC as you can choose what u...

Tom,
The groundscale for CoC isn't 1:100. It is clearly stated as 1' to 40 yards as John said, that is 1:120 or 1" equals 10 feet.

John
I stand corrected, the comment that stuck in my mind was 15mm was the closest scale. It is clearly stated 40 yards per foot.

Re: Tank Hunters

Ground scale for CoC is 1/100 or roughly 15mm So 1 inch is 8.3 feet, and a foot about 30.5 yards.

But remember most people are playing with giants at 28mm (so your figs are 11 feet tall!) So to get any feeling of scale I thing the random ranges are exaggerated.
