Re: Two Tea Break cards

Yeah but it’s an illusion, the first card does nothing.

Making IABSM less deadly

I was wondering has anyone played with 1-2 Miss 3-5 Shock 6 Kill Making Shock a bigger part of them game. I've been playing CoC lately, so going back to the To Hit/To Kill tables of IABSM is interesting in the different approaches. Just a random thought. Of course there is no Army morale, so it just...

Two Tea Break cards

I’ve never tried this. How does it work, do you get all the affects of a tea break, but the end of the turn?

Re: Bloody Bucket I Just got spanked!

OK, do emplacements have to be placed post patrol phase, or when placing the unit? We played it when placing the unit, allowing him to adjust his placement as required off the JoP to optimize his shot. He placed outside of 18" to ensure my Sturm squad's firepower would be desultory, but in close ran...

Re: Bloody Bucket I Just got spanked!

I'll agree, I was gamey on using the Strum squad and its LMG squad as "cannon fodder", but that's the rules. But since you get little extra forces for an attack, I'll take what edges I can get. As for Covering fire, I missed that. Of course, if he isn't on the table, you can't do covering fire. So m...

Re: Bloody Bucket I Just got spanked!

Sadly I missed the opportunity to really tool up his MMG team, I had deployed my LMGs conservatively, so only 2 could bear on his MMG. If I have been able to throw down 26 dice (on that overwatch fire), it might have made the difference.

Re: Bloody Bucket I Just got spanked!

No artillery support for the first day till the Germans bridge the river. Other that the Prep Barrage. Yeah, in retrospect, as I discussed with John. I should have moved tactically forward in 1d6 bounds. keeping the LMGs on overwatch. I could have deployed a 4th LMG, but that gave me very little fle...

Bloody Bucket I Just got spanked!

Playing the first round of Bloody Bucket, assualting across open ground is dangerous. I had bought a support LMG, and Sturm squads, for my VG platoon. I had added prep barrage with hopes of getting in close. Sadly, it didn’t go as planned. I set up a base of fire with 3 LMGs and tried to move my Str...

Re: German Wehrmacht Uniform

Believe it or not my Grandfather helped develop the T-13 Beano grenade! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BEANO_T-13_grenade The logic was than an American kid could throw a baseball accurately. My Father who was an infantryman in WWII was the exception that proved the rule, as he sucked (like me) at th...
