Operational Orders for The Rd To Bremen PSC

Hi Guys
Here’s a video introducing the Road To Bremen PSC I’ll be kicking off in a day or two.
It’s in the form of an Operational Orders Brief.
I’m just setting the scene and creating a bit of atmosphere (hopefully 😆).
Comments welcomed .

Re: YOUTUBE CHANNEL CYL TV

Have watched a few of their vids now. Good stuff interesting to see the planning before the gamel. Bit like being at a company "O" group :D Thanks for the comments :) Yes,.. well I started off with very simple ‘briefings’ and have gradually built upon that. We’re going to kick off a full play throu...

Re: DO WE HAVE A SMOKE PROBLEM?

I suspect the issue isn’t the rule but rather a misunderstanding of the fire from the LMG. This fire isn’t firing in the sense of Fire Resolution as per the rules. This is firing that is subsumed into the Hand to Hand combat. Hand to Hand includes point blank firing, fists, Clubbed weapons, Knives, ...

Re: DO WE HAVE A SMOKE PROBLEM?

‘Based on Richard’s ruling back in 2013 (mentioned in a previous post) I am confident that smoke will not block LOS for Close Combat. This will allow LMGs to fire their 4D6 when in arc + attackers can use smoke to screen the approaches and right onto a position’. Exactly how i see it. The Close Comb...

Re: Pre Game Sequence

It’s not just the timing of Stuka attacks, but more generally significant field defences (wire, minefields, roadblocks?, and in some PSC scenarios terrain features, such as marshes). These need to be declared by the defender before the attacker selects support, and it always seems to make sense if ...

15mm Mini recommendations?

Hi
Ive got saxons and Romano British forces in 28mm but I’m considering creating forces in 15mm.
Apart from the Splintered Light miniatures would anyone care to offer a suggestion for a nice range in 15mm?

Re: Blitzkrieg 1940: Questions: Pioneer Squads

I’ve got real issues with the pioneer list. It’s ridiculously under priced (or over powered). A platoon of these guys can take three Flamethrowers for the princely sum of 3 support points whereas other platoons are forking over 9 support points!!!! As a support opting surely a pioneer squad should b...
