Re: PBsM Battle report (part 1)

UPDATED Hi Guys. I live in semi rural Victoria and sometimes, (often) I struggle to find opponents to game with. I think Chain of Command shows real promise as a a good old fashion 'Play By Mail' (PBM) game,… Or should I say a 'Play By Social Media' (PBSM) game. So I'll set up a game,.. Set the para...

Re: Bren crew

Hi Most weapons and tactics manuals in the Australian army are written by Warrent Officers (the most senior of the enlisted ranks) and Captains (predominantly WOs though) These senior soldiers have been instructors for many years and supervisors OF instructors. The language you'll find in a military...

Re: French VB launcher

Thanks guys
Sorry for hijacking the thread.

Cheers!

Re: Do Rivers offer any cover?

I suggest it's simply something you'd agree with your opponent prior to the game.
There are far to many types of river banks to simply say all are one thing or the other

Re: French VB launcher

Not strictly related to the thread on the VBs, but rather the orbat for a Vichy French platoon am I correct in assuming it would appear as follows: PHQ: SL Lt Platoon Commander (with pistol), JL, platoon sergeant (rifle armed) Five man 50mm Mortar team under a JL (or not) Sections / Squads 1,2 and 3...
