Isolated figures
A rifle team of 7 men is deployed in two little fields, crossed by a road more than 4° wide. To keep the unit continuity one of the riflemen must be deployed on the road, but unfortunately he is killed. Then there are 3 riflemen detached from the other three, do they move as separate teams on a 1 re...

Re: Modify the size of Your Force.
Interesting opinion!
The only problem now remain the 6 number for end of turn, if one of a force of two platoons will obtain end of turn do the turn end? (easier with more than one)
Or we have to wait an end of turn for both? (harder solution with more than one)
Thank you for Your Ideas

Re: Modify the size of Your Force.
I think problem arise in number of dices.
If You don't increase their number for a greater force, then the small one will act with better probability.
If You increase the number the system of 5 and 6 will obtain a larger probability adding dices.

Modify the size of Your Force.
The CoC System is calibrated on the platoon size unit. Sometimes would be useful to reduce or increase the number of teams You have, i.e. in a campaign situation. Has someone ideas of how we can balance the number of dices varying the size of Your force? How adding or removing dices, You can work on...

Re: COCing Sharp Practice?
I think the job can work better with Mud & Blood, or IABSM but removing sequence deck or Bonus card deck, will delete one of the better aspects of the game. With the dice system You'll have a fixed dimension game, balanced on a standard unit size (platoon for CoC), that can be bigger as You desire w...

Re: Skirmishers
The skirmish formation and the mob formation are targeted at the same factor. But I think that the last offer a more dense target, also a little deeper. On the other hand, may be possible for cannonball targeting enemies behind the skirmish troops, maybe with a reduced factor. Those are only persona...

Re: Skirmishers
But a spanish guerilla mob has the same hit factor as a skirmish target, like a professional skirmish thin line made of couple of men a lot more spaced.

Re: Sharp Practice: Scale Question
We play it with 28mm, but using a 1:4/1:8 scale, representing a company with 12 or 24 men, being able to deploy a "real battalion" or two.
It seems running, big men and chosen men are extra figures.
