Re: Videos, perhaps

Just read the news! Thanks for filming another Lard-O-Vision epic which I am sure will inspire, educate and excite gamers all over the world - and encourage them to grab the forthcoming supplement. Well done David and Team Lard.

Direction angle of supporting units

Sirs, A two-part question this time. We are looking for clarification for the rule that support units must have the "same facing" as charging or targeted units to offer support. The situation in our latest game: 1. an infantry unit in column was the target of a cavalry charge. 2. the target unit had...

Of course what makes it worse is the charging side is penalized for total casualties (eg -1 to test for 4 casualties) compounded by a penalty for the fresh losses suffered in fire (potentially another -1 for casualties just lost). Overall attacking/charging in can be very difficu...

Re: Videos, perhaps

As the Original Poster of this question I feel a little badly about it right now. While such videos can be useful for gamers (and perhaps encourage some sales), of course they are very time consuming and challenging. I'm sure David has many things going to keep him busy, including the launch of the ...

Re: Recovering from Fire Discipline

That sounds fine, John. Loss of Fire Discipline is not as severe a state of disorder as being Unformed. And just to clarify for anyone reading, even though movement comes before firing, any unit Reforming from Unformed status in the Movement Phase, must fire on the Inferior Volley line that turn (pa...

Recovering from Fire Discipline

Gentlemen, The rules state that any infantry unit that reforms from Unformed status by not moving for a turn must fire on the Inferior Volley line; ie it is classed as having "moved". However, when an infantry unit "reforms" from Fire Discipline status by not moving for a turn, is it also required t...
