The 60mm Mortar was never part of the Infantry platoon. They were in the Weapons platoon.

Your thinking about it wrong.
The opposed rolling isn't about getting "hits" you will have already done that it's about how much damage you do.

I'm with Archie. I fid it crazy that people are deciding to modify the game without having played it RAW. That's worst than reviewing a game without having played it.

Andy, could the ATRs that you are seeing in the TO&E are the panzerbusche 41 28mm gun? I've read that they were issued to Recce Battalions.

Even thought the TO&E changed to 4 squads it's doubt full that many units actually achieved that before the attack on the Soviet Union after which due to casualties of they quickly reverted back to the three squad platoon.
