The problem with McLaddie is he's a academic who has worked his whole adult life in academia. So he thinks everything can be modeled/quantified He needs to get out of the hothouse and out into real life and then he'll learn that it can't be done. At least the first few pages were interesting. Well he has also stated that as long as the leader hadn't moved and was attached to the section at the start of the phase he can move with the section if they move even if he had been activated prior to the move.

Rich has used the ability to use a 3 or 4 to activate a JL or SL and remove shock and then using a 2 to activate the squad/section to move or fire several times when explaining the flexibility of the command system.

That is why I wrote infantry platoon. Even it the AR companies they usually concentrated the three 60s at the CHQ because a battery of three 60s is much more effective than three singles.

The 60mm Mortar was never part of the Infantry platoon. They were in the Weapons platoon.
