Re: More jungle terrain for Malaya (updated 13 09 18)

Rubber Plantations are like orchards. The trees need to be a certain distance apart in order for the trees to grow properly. Undergrowth is kept down so that the workers can move freely t collect the rubber sap.

I seem to remember Rich stating that when you dismount the PzGr section you need to leave one man behind to drive the 251if you want to move it.

French 1944-45 Infantry Platoon

Does anybody have TO&E info for a 1944-45 French Infantry platoon?

I believe they were organized like the US infantry Platoon but haven't been able to verify that.

Any help would be appreciated

Well yeah, except for the two additional MG-42s and the Rifle Grenadiers moved to the PHQ instead of in the third squad.

Re: Füsilierkompanie (auf Fahrrädern) KStN.149 V 1.9.1944

That is the September 1944 TO&E. In the November of 1944 the Company was changed by attaching the Rifle Grenadiers to the Platoon HQ, adding a second LMG to the third squad in the Assault Squads and in the third Rifle platoon all three Squads had one LMG with two crew and five Riflemen plus the Squa...

Re: BAR in close combat

Both the BAR are commonly under rated by those who have never fired them. CoC gives the bren a accuracy bonus the BAR is every bit as accurate as the bren. One thing that few wargames seem to know about the BAR is that there is a weight that slides on a bar in the stock that acts as a counter weight...
