Re: French list question

I don't know to be honest, I took it from a Google search. ;)

Re: French list question

Hi Simon,

'V-B launcher' and 'grenade launcher' should refer to the same thing, i.e. a grenade 'cup' on a rifle... which looks like this.

Re: Arriba Espana!

Okay, ¡Menuda machada! works for me, I might even take your last comment as my profile signature.

Just need the votes of the rest of the Spanish Jury now. ;)

Re: Cavalry Rules (from Espana Supplement)

Same here... 'our way' is not necessarily the 'best way'. I will let Rolf think about it and then just agree with him.

Re: "Afrika CoC" Project officially launched

I think Fort Capuzzo is here, judging by the Grid Reference on this German target map here.

Part of the East side is hidden by new buildings, but you can see the outline of the Western side.

Interesting project though, looking forwards to reading about it. :)

Re: Arriba Espana!

Rafa, you may be right, but it is likely that they arrived here from Italy via Spain. ;) 'Temerario' might work in Spanish... but it has no equivalent in English, we even translate the French 'Téméraire' as 'bold' and not 'rash', 'reckless' or 'impetuous'. How about 'Ser Macho' or 'Sé Macho'? We nee...

Re: Cavalry Rules (from Espana Supplement)

Hi Stefano and thanks. :) As you can see Rolf is the 'rules man' of the team and the 'effect' of using the tank rules he put forward worked for how I saw things working. I can offer a 'reality' view though, which might help you see how we saw it; The bulk of cavalry actions were fought dismounted, w...

Re: Arriba Espana!

Cheers Chaps and thanks for the answers. Makes sense. One further question, should Tiznau be available to Peninsular forces? You're welcome! :) Not really. The first were typically constructed and used by the Militias and largely in Catalonia/Aragon or the Basque region, with the more sophisticated...

Re: Next era for lists??

I will echo what Pat says. If your research is good and your transfer of capabilities into the way it works under the rules is fair, go for it. It would certainly take some of the workload off Rich if they are good enough to use. As we tend to do things for our own 'favourite army' though, there is ...

Re: Arriba Espana!

Hi folks, first post on here. Rolf's given my backside a kick to get here and answer some questions. Most of the Spanish errors are mine, as one or two of you might know, having given me impromptu lessons on my blog already. :D Asaltos: I have come across it a few times here and there and at least o...
