Re: 15mm German platoon

Siggian, when I make my next batch I'll try adding in some course turf. It makes your hedges look that bit more like rural ones rather than mine which look more like they should be around some country house. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: 15mm German platoon

Following on from Seret's comments, I'd suggest getting some Woodland Scenics Fine Turf, PVA glue and get some on your hedges. You don't use much and it makes hedges look much better.

And the figures look grand. CoC in 15mm is defo the way to go.

Re: War of the Roses

I'd suggest Dux B for WotR. Local gentry fighting amongst themselves even fits in with the Dux B campaign. Wish I could pull my finger out and have a crack at it.

Re: Japanese Type 97 81mm Mortar team

Mortars of that calibre are off-table. They're represented by a FOO in the game. See the support list.

Re: Forward Observer question

As I play in 15mm I use two figures on a single base, same for sniper teams. Although two figures I still remove them on a single casualty.

Re: Some questions before first game

1. You are correct for 1 and 2 but a little out for 3. A three activates a Junior Leader. They’ll have 2 Command Initiatives to use. These can be used for a number of actions. One CI can activate the whole section, a single team, or remove Shock. If a team moves away from the other team in the secti...

Re: Scenario 5 - patrol phase

And remember the side with the higher Moral get the first move. So if it's the attacker they'd get the two extra moves and then the first of the Patrol Phase proper.

Re: France 1940 : looking for scenarios

There's three campaigns in the specials. I'm not at home so can't check which ones but I'm sure someone will be along soon with the relevant issues. If no one has bunged up the info by Sunday afternoon I'll bung it up.

Re: New player with first question...

There's no need to have a figure to represent the Adjutant. He only has an off-table effect.
