Re: Best way to cut doormats for making crop fields

Having tried this, I can honestly say that the best way of doing it is to get someone else to do it. . .

Re: New nappy rules

It never was - it had its own forum and group. The Yahoo FUBAR killed LFS discussion dead. LFS3 is the new version - it didn't take the world by storm. COC hit the market at a sweet spot - a similar alternative grand scale Napoleonic set is unlikely to do the same. And TFL have a lot of public kudos...

Indeed the one thing the Napoleonic period truly lacks is rules . .

Even TFL only produce two sets - clearly more are needed!

Re: New nappy rules

Longstreet is an evolution from Maurice - so the cards modify the play and provide much of the interplay. At core though it's IGO-UGO (but in a good way) - there's quite a bit of discussion and desire that Lasalle be updated to a similar card based game on the Honour Forum.

Back in January Daz wrote this:
"for my revolutionary rules I am using Rich's "Chain of Command" command and control system, not LFS style blinds and cards."

Of course you had to be a member of the LFS Yahoo Group to read it, so some of us have known for some time the direction of travel. . .

Re: New nappy rules

Probably the Revolutionary Wars set Daz has been working on for some time.

Not an LFS variant

Re: Any Lardy events planned for 2014?

I can make St Albans easily enough - we haven't done any LFS since Wagram in 2009, if Daz is around?
