Re: Sniper and LOS

How is the 12" range applicable to smoke? The factors affecting smoke are LOS (3+ or deviate) or not (5+ or deviate) the distance only matters for the 3 rounds of HE. As to the quoted change - you are changing two things: 1) reducing from 'any unit' to 'any leader' 2) adding in a command radius limi...

Re: Sniper and LOS

I think you'll find that LMs hit on a 3+ with LOS. Frankly its amazing just how inaccurate mine tend to be! It's a big accuracy jump from direct LOS to firing with LOS provided by a unit - takes a long time to be accurate and usually you want an immediate effect (especially smoke). With such a signi...

Re: New Movement Trays for IABSM

Yeah I have similar - you can see them in my German album https://www.flickr.com/photos/zippee/sets/72157630575028170 (really need to update this - someone lend me a week!) We don't use them anymore - in the end it was more hassle taking them in and out than it was moving the individual figures. Tha...

ATSE Campaign Question

Just played scenario one from the ATSE book (due to lack of yanks and paras the existing pints are off the table) for an introductory campaign game. There seems to be a disconnect with the first scenario being in the Tiger Shoot area, but there being no way of having British Armour on the table with...

Re: Cover bonuses/penalties

Big shell at infantry is HE - you can always attempt to crawl into the ground, under other bodies, in a mouse hole to escape shrapnel. The shock from the detonation is likley to still be effective though. Big shell against tank is AP - fast and heavy likely to bash its way in or at east concuss the ...

I don't see why they are not on the shop website at £0.00 cost (or 10p or whatever) - would seem the simplest method of hosting all the supplemental documents.

Re: Targets on different floors of a house ? LIVE GAME

Try hitting a building full of troops with a flamethrower it is amazing how fast they can get out My experience is that they struggle to get out - due to shock. Flamethrowers ignore cover and inflict double shock, most sections after one hit struggle to move - you can't double and lose 1D6 to get t...
