Re: IABSM Greece41 Glider Assault game

I had a few folks ask how they can get Chris' Campaign for Greece supplement for IABSM since it was no longer listed on the Lardies site. Well, it looks like it is now available through Chris' blog site

Coastal Patrol great for solo or remote gaming

If anyone is thinking about an easy game to adapt for social distancing play, I would recommend Coastal Patrol. It's got a layered blind system that makes it extremely easy to solo play with unknown units underneath. Also no trouble to set up take down terrain. You can even run a game without miniat...

Re: 15mm Sugar Island campaign continues Now with Maroons

I believe they enjoyed it. Jess was into playing the vain plantation owner and William has run a great CoC game via text already so knew the issues of communications.
And it does give us a way to game during our isolation. I look forward to trying more games via texting

Re: 15mm Sugar Island campaign continues Now with Maroons

Its a nice little book. Certainly not a well known campaign and a great way to put the F&I types in a different setting with straw hats. He is working on a Havana campaign now.

15mm Sugar Island campaign continues Now with Maroons

This was my first attempt at doing a Sharp Practice game via texting. The scenario was set on Martinique and part of our Sugar Islands campaign. It would be the 3rd game on that island and I was using the recently posted Encounter with Maroons by Stuart Insch as its basis https://stuartinschwargames...

IABSM Greece41 Glider Assault game

I ran my second IABSM game during the pandemic with players separated by around 500 miles. This game is from Chris Stoesen's Campaign for Greece 41 book and based on his Glider Assault scenario (#13) It revolves around an Aussie attempt to keep a road open through Fallschirmjager infested territory....

FJ on the Neva -- social distance socializing with a IABSM game

I ran this I Ain't Been Shot Mum game with the idea that several friends could have some involvement in a game during the Covid-19 pandemic. Loads of pics in the flickr set because I was texting the game out to 6 people. I sent pregame info out to 2 groups of 3. Team Komrade Kovid as the Russians an...

6mm IABSM Op Express game

Well, the quarantine has given me a chance to edit and label some pics from a Dec/19 6mm I Ain't Been Shot Mum game. I set up a Normandy scenario for friends at my place based on Operation Express. I was still in the mood for a Normandy game and wanted something with Churchills and ruins. Link to lo...

Re: CoC Swift to Support game in the Crimea

Some of the small pieces are colored gravel. Bigger pieces are made from pine bark and a couple of Gale Force 9 pieces.
Thanks

CoC Swift to Support game in the Crimea

The idea behind this game was a German attempt to slip around the lines of defending Soviet Naval troops outside of Sevastopol. The Russians rush a unit to their flank to stem the maneuver and keep the high ground. I used the Swift to Support scenario from Blitzkrieg book. Jon was the defending Sovi...
