Re: Easy Dry Stone Walls

Beyond the grappling hook, I would also like to draw attention to the anchor from the old pirate ships. I have the two originals from the early 90s and my little one plays with them...he likes to leave the anchors around nowhere near the ships. Those have made a mess of my feet more than once. Also ...

Re: What have I missed - AWI Terrain

Ok I’m jumping in. How do people do corn (maize) fields? I’ve got the standard easy coir mat for wheat (on the cheap) and I’ve got trees and brush (and fences and walls). But how do people do corn?

Re: Death in the Hürtgenwald!

This game was 15mm on a 6x4' table. I play CoC with 3 other guys, myself and one other play in 20mm, Tom plays in 15 mm and the last guy plays in 28mm. All scales work on a 6x4'table. The true scale for the game is 15mm. I like 20mm as I can see the weapons and the vehicles are not massive. John Th...

Re: Death in the Hürtgenwald!

Hi John and Tom, great looking game. Thanks for posting about it. Quick question, are you playing in 15mm and is the table a 6x4? I’m considering getting into CoC and just trying to see how people play. Thanks!

Re: Lardies at CRISIS?

Ok so my sleep lacking brain (1yr old who is cutting two molars at the same time in the back of his little mouth)... I misread “at CRISIS” as “in CRISIS” and was immensely concerned at first. I’ve got it figured out now, no worries. I hope you all have a great time AT CRISIS (not “in crisis”) and pe...

Re: Enfilade 2018 AAR Race for the Bridge

I think one interesting way to put Capt. Fortier’s suggestion into play would be attacks on a fortresses or fortified town (think Spanish border 1811/1812 for Peninusla War or Yorktown, Richmond, Petersburg, Vicksburg, Fort William Henry in FIW). You could have the feint attack and primary attack. I...

Jason Western MA...never actually played a game using any of the TFL rules. But I’ve read SP and think it’s a great rules set and own a few models (AWI) that is love to use some time.

Haven’t actually signed in for months but just read your article from the link. That’s a great article and really does help explain why the random events are in there. Had some issues explaining to a friend and now I can just share your article. Thanks!
