Re: AWI airport defence scenario

I’ve been at a FEMA training for three days and haven’t had time to check the boards. Thank you all for this. Very funny and gave me a good chuckle at the start of my last training session.

Re: Saga Age of Crusades

I think Saga is a solid game. Haven’t tried the second edition but I don’t mind the boards telegraphing a bit. I’m my opinion, warfare was more intimate and I find that because there is less shooting and less camouflage, I don’t need as much “fog of war”. I generally play it figures 1-1 so my 6pts o...

Re: Out of my depth

95th rifles are, naturally, going to be gathered at some point but I've been finding sourcing a good box of them a bit tricky if I want a few groups. Warlord Games just released a plastic 95th box. I want to say it’s 10men so maybe two boxes (3 groups of 6 +2 for maybe officers). They’ve also got a...

Re: Sharp Practice AWI at Cold Wars

Great report. Looks a cracking game! As a Bostonian who grew up on the edge of the Green every Patriots Day, I sometimes forget the other interesting skirmishes during the Siege of Boston. Great use of the events (even loosely) for an engaging scenario.

Re: Why is the Sherman List 8?

Hi all,
As a new player, where can I find the Consilidated Arsenal? I tried searching the forums and the pinned threads but I didn’t see it anywhere.

Thanks
Jason

Re: Zheleznyakov Aka Green Spirit

Another model railroad scale to consider is S-Gauge. It’s usually 1:64th scale so bit small for 28mm but could give you a place to start and models to build up/out from. It may look a bit narrow with a true 28mm 1:56th tank next to it but might do the trick on the edge of a battle. I’ve tried the O-...

Re: Lard Dice

I believe I just saw some Lard Dice in use on the new Beasts of War video with Big Rich playing the 1940's handbook. Looked good!

Re: TUTORIAL: Designing your own lasercut buildings

Hey this is awesome. I’ve been struggling to decide if I wanted to buy an MDF army tray and insert (precut for bases) but the shipping has been stopping me. I’m a college librarian and hadn’t even thought about seeing if any of the colleges I work with have a laser cutter. Turns out at least one doe...

Re: Easy Dry Stone Walls

Beyond the grappling hook, I would also like to draw attention to the anchor from the old pirate ships. I have the two originals from the early 90s and my little one plays with them...he likes to leave the anchors around nowhere near the ships. Those have made a mess of my feet more than once. Also ...
