Re: Allocating Command Dice

YOU DO NOT NEED TO ALLOCATE ALL OF YOUR COMMAND DICE BEFORE TAKING ANY ACTIONS. You can if you want, but you don't have to. For example, I may want to fire my MMG and then assault with my section. However, I fire the MG and roll badly getting no hits. In that case I decide to leave the infantry sect...

Re: Deploy and Activate?

I am not entirely clear what I should be clarifying here, so if I end up clarifying the wrong thing then do let me know. 1. Jump-Off points represent an area where your enemy has identified that you have, or had, troops. 2. Jump-Off points represent a point to which you can deploy your men quickly a...

Re: Support List Question

I have vaguely addressed this elsewhere on another thread. The basic lists in the rules are just that, basic lists to get people started. The plan is that we develop this hugely from that starting point and create lists which are very force specific and which can better reflect the strengths and wea...

Re: Stupid question on Squad Sizes - CoC vs IABSM

IABSM is based on reduced strengths typical in a combat zone. Chain of Command is based on text book strengths because the game is really all about applying tactics by the book and seeing how different forces achieve the same end through very different tactics. The planned campaign supplement will g...

Re: Comprehensive AFV Lists

Chaps My thanks to Lorne for jumping in on this. He kindly emailed me and volunteered just at the point when I was about to drown in work. My less than polite answer which could be paraphrased as "Do what you ****ing well like" was taken entirely in the right spirit and I see that he has achieved a ...

Re: Finns, Winter War Kickstarter

I just jumped on this, My first kickstarter. I did the £120 option which appears to be everything we CoCers could need. Gavin tells me he is going to tie the goals in to the CoC Support list.

Re: Night Rules

I want to cover night games in a specific supplement for special forces and paras. For Pegasus Bridge I would suggest the following special rules. 1. When the Ox & Bucks land the German Ear, Nose and Throat Platoon run away. 2. The Ox & Bucks then do nothing all day, with 7 Para doing all the fighti...

Re: Jeeps with integral weapons?

Lads, this will all come out in the wash as we produce more lists which are force specific. The generic lists are exactly that, generic, and give a basic guide for basic kit. They are MUCH too general for very specific forces. For Paras in Jeeps with a Vickers K gun the rating is VERY likely to be L...

Re: Spanish Civil War lists-Army of Africa and People's Mili

Rolf, they look superb. Very nice presented. I do tend to agree with you that the Army of Africa should be in Teams, whereas the militias in squads. Do we have any detail on tactical drill for the period. I am thinking of pre-war Spanish Army manuals?
