Re: Generic Japanese lists

Greetings Couldn't you use a variation on the US Scouts rule? Can form a team of 1-2 from the rifle section to act and deploy as a separate team. Do not get the distant US command control but might get added tactical movement in close terrain. Combined with die hard this mask them pretty tough. Othe...

Re: We Have Met The Enemy... And He Is Us!

Greetings 1. Pinned with the unit to which they are attached - 14.2 result of shock apply equally to the men in the team and any leaders with them. But leaders can be activated in a later phase and move out of contact with the unit (> 4") and suffer no ill effects, returning to normal status. Leade...

Re: Silly Question: Rifle Sections

Greetings 1. In IABSM there is no distinction made between the belt fed leMG34 or 42 with riflemen mainly supporting the gun group and, say, the British separate Bren and Rifle groups. If you play CoC (which has the player command a platoon onto a company) you will see the differences between the di...

Re: UGT Militia tangle with the Moroccans

Greetings

I keep wishing there was more variety of 15mm SCW - I've got 15mm buildings and wouldn't want to go hog wild on the period.

Re: We Have Met The Enemy... And He Is Us!

Greetings Not sure I can answer all these ... 1. Pinned with the unit to which they are attached - 14.2 result of shock apply equally to the men in the team and any leaders with them. 2. The barrage only takes effect on each occasion the battery is activated 10.3.2. If the friendly leader and unit c...

Re: Silly Question: Rifle Sections

Greetings 1. Sections/squads with 2 LMGs will add one D6. In late war terms this will be German Panzergrenadiers for example. In IABSM terms an HMG is a heavy calibre MG e.g. a .50 cal, as opposed to the MMG with rifle calibre rounds such as the MG34 or 42 or the .30 cal Brownings. These MMG and HMG...

Re: Kfz 13 Adler Support cost

Greetings

List 2 sounds right to me. It is not as good as the 221 which is List 3. Given they seem to have been withdrawn as much for poor x country performance as for lack of protection they may be lucky to have the stats they have!

Re: Interrupting an ambush

Greetings Consensus seems to be that: (a) you can use an interrupt after the opponent chooses to activate his unit and either before the opponent rolls the dice for that unit to fire or at any point during the unit's movement. (b) ambushes do not allow the use of the interrupt before the result of t...

Re: US Para Platoon

Greetings

It is a separate unit of the platoon I.e. Only one per platoon. You could always get another one as List 3 support if you really wanted..

Re: PzGren/SdKfz 251

Greetings

See 11.2.1. The JL has 2 CI used for main MG gunner, secondary MG gunner or driver. In fact it's going to be unusual to need to do more than activate two of these.
