Re: Do my support teams wear my uniform?

Schutzen waffenfarbe seem to be very complex - one posting referred to an order of July 31st 1938 stipulating that Schutzen Rifle Regiments assigned to armored formations would wear pink. Schutzen units still assigned to Light Divisions continued to wear golden yellow. The same commentator noted tha...

Re: Do my support teams wear my uniform?

Greetings The LeIG18 crew will be part of the infantry regiment (or schutzen unit) and so wear the same distinctions (White and pink respectively). . The PAK36 crew will again be part of the infantry formation unless they are from the Panzerjager/Panzerabwehr Abteilung when they would be pink. Artil...

Re: What does it cost for leaders?

Greetings In scenarios you get the leaders for your chosen platoon as standard and then additional leaders from the support lists. So, p.83 gives a German infantry platoon with its senior leader and 3 junior leaders. P.85 gives the support list where another senior leader is on list two ie costs 2 ...

Re: Scottish Corridor Carrier option questions

Greetings Pretty sure the UC’s employing the Vickers to be fired mounted were only in armoured divisions, Vickers battalions within infantry divisions used the carriers as transport only Chris - you may well be right about which units tended to use the MG from the vehicle, but by 1944 the infantry d...

Re: AT gun movement restrictions

Greetings

If I recall correctly, in UK service, if an AT gun was about to be overrun then the crew was supposed to disable the gun and evade. If the gun was knocked out they were meant to withdraw and not be used other than as gun crew (being specialists).

Re: Scottish Corridor Carrier option questions

Greetings In my view A. MG carriers were specific modifications of the universal carrier to carry/mount the Vickers and did not have the capacity for 5 crew in the vehicle. The MG carrier, according to the February 1944 war establishment had: “corporal MMG number, 2 X MMG number, driver mechanic Car...

Re: WW2 European towns?

Greetings

Given the sometimes significant differences between regions, do you have a preference for a general location? Are you talking about Western Europe - if so whereabouts? If Eastern Europe/Russia again whereabouts?
