Battle at Parczew
It’s September 29th, 1939, and Independent Operational Group Polesie are marching south towards Koch. Attacked by Soviet cavalry and tanks, the Poles are at first beaten back, but then counter-attack and manage to re-take the village of Milanow. This they then prepare to hold in the face of further ...

Re: SP AA and fire actions
No. I wouldn't let it move and fire. Wasn't designed for that, and the rules state MMG/HMGs can't do so.

Re: Star Wars Project
Looks good to me.
On the AT-PT, the first weapon looks to be a light auto blaster rather than just a blaster. No effect on the stats, just gives consistency to the labelling.
Cheers

Re: CDS Questions
Hi The second edition of CDS was something Rich and I worked on together, and basically brought CDS in line with all the changes that had been made to IABSM since it's first publication...so whilst respecting the "play the period, not the rules" philosophy that is so important to Lardy games, IABSM ...

Happy Christmas! (A Battle of the Bulge AAR, not a confusion about dates)
This weekend just gone, John, Dave, Bevan and I re-fought the Battle of the Bulge scenario that we played a couple of years ago. I played the Germans in that one, but played the Allies today. A cracking game that was action, action, action from the moment battle was joined. Click on the link below t...

Re: Hull-down; moving back up to ridgeline, re-spotting??
Hi
1) Middle one is what I would do
2) No
3) No: they need to press forward. They have the whole of the rest of the army pushing forward behind them!
Cheers

Re: Default size of IABSM table
re the scenarios that I have written, John has got it exactly right: the maps are indicative of what the table should look like without the need to make sure that the pond is exactly 15m from the church etc. Go 6x4 or 6x5 as a default. As an example, I now lucky enough to mostly play on an 8x5 table...

First Game of the Year: George of the Jungle!
And so to the first battle of 2019: a game of I Ain’t Been Shot, Mum! against Dave using one of the scenarios from the TooFatLardies Summer Special 2016 . For those unaware of the Specials, and now the Lard Magazine, these are a wonderful source of scenarios, information and inspiration for all Lard...

Re: Anti tank guns, 1st activation & subsequent activation
Thanks for your answer, Vis Bellica. Very straightforward. So, does the "Aiming bonus" if you did not move the previous turn also apply to AT guns.......(or only to tanks).... For a typical AT gun...3 actions in one turn......probably already hidden in place (thus did not move the previous turn) -1...
