Yes, I think so. You're comparing ten chaps armed with bolt action rifles or semiautomatic carbines, and a Single BAR with eight chaps with assault rifles and two LMGs. I know which team I'd pick!

My ideas wandered into directions of War of the Worlds and UNIT vs. Daleks - both of which Q13 could do, I'm sure, but only by severely twisting it... I don't think they need to be twisted at all. Martians, especially the AQOTMF ones, will be army-listed as soon as the kickstarted figures arrive at...

Hi Wulf Glad you finally bought the rules, sorry you're at all disappointed! Having no indications of what balances two forces is typical of a TFL game: the lack of a points system, if you like. I'd recommend Q13 as well: particularly as I'm signed up to the kickstarter myself, so will be producing Q13 army list for the Martians as soon as I get my figures (I always prefer to produce army lists from the figures themselves rather than just a manufacturer's listing).
