Re: Infantry and IFVs

Not my theatre of expertise, but I'd agree that it depends on how much coordination between carriers and infantry you want to allow. If the carriers are being used as battle taxis rather than quasi-AFVs, then I would say the carriers operate on the infantry platoon card. This allows them to co-ordin...

Re: Operation Compass

Hi Zippee 1) The Punjabis don't arrive until the fifth appearance of the Turn Card, so around ten turns into the game. That puts eight squads of good Commonwealth infantry against four squads of poor Libyan infantry, but the Libyans can start the game in trenches under concealed Blinds. I think that...

Bust Up At Belle Maison

At the recent OML2 Day in Evesham, I met a couple of chaps from Oxford, Dave and John, who had just started playing IABSM. After a bit of a chat, I volunteered to go over to Oxford and run a game for them. The venue was John's excellent man-cave, the game one of the scenarios from the Blenneville or...

That's really good. Where did you live again? And can you leave it out so I don't have to make the place untidy whilst I find it!

Re: Maybe a Dumb Newbie Questions....

Yes, all my scenario packs are fully updated to be v3 compatible.

As for the theatre booklets, only Battle for Liberation and Vpered Na Berlin have been re released for v3. Perhaps if we all ask a Rich nicely, he'll do the others too!

Cheers

Re: Martian wars

Haven't had mine through yet, and will properly stat the sides once I get them, but tech level 0 for the humans and 2 for the Martians seems right to me. I'd differentiate between the Americans and the British with strike and armour values rather than tech level.
