Q13 AAR: Marauders Squashed!

My first game of the year was an epic 15mm sci-fi clash between my newly painted Gitungi army, using figures mostly from Micropanzer’s Gitungi range, and an ‘evil vegetable’ army comprising figures from a number of different manufacturers but principally Khurasan’s Vornid plant-men and Ravenstar’s H...

IABSM AAR: Vaux sur Seulles

Not the first game of the new year, but the last game of the last year!

An exciting class between British Paras and German garrison troops in Normandy just after D-Day in June 1944.

Re: Side Armour,

Hi Doug
If it's IABSM then it's just that shots at the side penetrate on a 4,5,6 rather than just 5,6; with the defender rolling for 5,6 as normal.
Rear is 3,4,5,6.

Re: LMG Action dice,

Yup, that's correct, Doug.

Makes some squads absolutely lethal e.g. last night my British Paras were firing at 5D6: 4D6 for their Actions plus an additional D6 for extra Bren gun teams.

TFL Painting Challenge 2014...and 2015

Hi All I haven't posted much about the TFL Painting Challenge on the Forum, limiting announcements to the Yahoo group. However, it's the end of the year and as the 2014 Challenge transitions into the 2015 Challenge, it's worthy of a mention here on the Forum too. So, I've just uploaded today's entri...

The Lacôme Canal

Will the Germans manage to keep their blitzkrieg going by taking the bridge over the Lacôme canal, or will the French manage to check the enemy advance? Re: Up the boot - Invasion of Sicily and Italy lists & info

Hi Glad you liked Sicilian Weekend...you should try my other scenario books too! FYI I also wrote two Sicily follow-up scenarios for the TFL 2010 Summer Special, one of which covers some of the action near the Primosole Bridge. And you can see IABSM AARs from Sicilian Weekend at www.vislardica.com. ...
