General D’Armee - A Village on the Belgian Border

I thought I would share a recent battle of GdA. My collection (completely inspired by the rules) is all pendraken and the Village is TBMs lovely resin buildings. Instead of a turn by turn job, I have plumped for ‘phases’. Each link goes through a number of turns and covers all the important moments....

Re: Basing/number of bases for small med large

His figures are superb! If I was using 15 or 28’s I would be copying his basing/figure ratio. For my 10mm troops 9per Squadron will do fine (3bases). Small units get 2 squadrons normal 3 and large 4. It seems the campaign system of Dux would be perfect for this time period- Barons could be loyal to either side (Stephen or Matilda/Robert of Gloucester)or just out to gain more power for themsel...

Re: SP2 in London

Well at the moment I don't! New to wargaming so I am, at the moment, trying to build up my Miniatures- have models for French and Allies as well as building my first gaming table top/scenery etc. It might not be exactly what you wanted to hear, but I will keep you updated with progress and hopefully...

Re: SP2 in London

I'm still building my French up, but for future reference is Leytonstone too far east for you?
