Newbie questions
I have two questions. Ground scale of 6mm models. Based playing IABSM, I intend to use inches for table movement and ranges. Has anyone had any experience with 6mm measurements? C-in-C command pips. Do I roll command pip dice at the beginning of the game; or, every turn? I think rolling each turn wo...

Australian Light Horse
Hi, I'm preparing to play my first ITLSU game using 6mm models. Do I organise my Light Horse s Cavalry (3 bases per troop), Or, organise them as Infantry (4 bases per troop). Bearing in mind Light Horse were mounted infantry and not armed with Cavalry weapons. Yes, some units were armed and trained ...

Re: Starting M&B
Thank you for your helpful reply. I agree with your thoughts regarding French cavalry not dis-mounting. I recall reading at sometime in the past that the cuirassiers refused to dis-mount as it was beneath to fight on foot; but the dragoons would fight on foot if they were desperate. Another reason g...

Starting M&B
I'm starting M&B. I have ordered two platoons each of 28mm 1914 French and Germans with supporting artillery, cavalry and HMGs, from North Star Military Figures. I have some questions. Painting French Infantry. Is there a particular blue colour I should use for the 1914 coats/jackets? Looking at pai...

Re: ITLSU 1914
Thanks John.
My 6mm models are from Irregular Miniatures which come with 3 figures per base for infantry and 2 cavalry. I play IABSM where I use coloured markers of casualties.
Any thoughts on cards for the Western Front?

ITLSU 1914
I'm new to ITLSU.
I have hordes of 6mm WW1 models for Middle East and France/Belgium 1914.
I have the Middle East Cards, but I'm yet to play a game.
Does ITLSU work with 6mm models? And, are France/Belgium 1914 cards available.
Regards

Re: Mixed Platoons, On table artillery
Thank you for your thoughts.
I didn't think about the minimum indirect range it is a valid point.
In this scenario the infantry and guns were dug into defensive positions so they did not separate during game. However, it would be problem if the infantry did move.

Mixed Platoons, On table artillery
We recently played our first prodominently tanks game set is North Africa. I was the British, where I mixed my infantry platoon with my 6pdr battery to form one Platoon of one section with two guns controlled by the 6pdr big man; and another Platoon had two sections and two guns controlled by the in...

Mud and Blood, 6mm
Hello,
I'm considering using my masses of 6mm Middle East and 1914 troops for Mud and the Blood.
I already have a system for counting casualties as I'm using my 15mm flames of war troops for IABSM.
Will 6mm troops work for Mud and Blood?
I'm also considering using IABSM for WW1.
Regards
