Re: Sdkfz 222

^^ Good to know, will check the lists. It was a cracking support option for the scenario....lots of open ground to cross! I know its all about keeping it simple but with these light armoured vehicles I think they falling between the cracks a little bit and are oddly a bit OP, off the top of my head ...

Re: Sdkfz 222

^^ TBH Elites should be very rare in the game these days with the new rules providing better granularity.... Id like to tweak KvL and see how that runs with the Paras having a nerf and a bit more balance. Don't forget the 222 is also wheeled......I've used one 7-8 times now and not lost one. Id be a...

Re: Sdkfz 222

^^
I don't understand.

Its a 6d6 Auto-cannon that uses normal firing rules (4+ close 5+ effective) but is -1 cover....that's been plenty effective!

Tuck it away in a good spot, supported by infantry and chew up the BEF or French!

Re: Sdkfz 222

^^ As above Also remember that list prices often vary for campaign specific reasons. The Arsenal is the go to for stats but campaign list costs take precedence. I LOVE the 222...hands down its been my best support option across 2 early war campaigns......use it carefully and skulk about and its VERY...

Re: Marching Fire

No, but you are free to do as you please obv! :)

I would limit it to US forces with the correct weaponry as an extension of their doctrine based Marching Fire characteristic

Re: Are national army weapon stats at player's opinion?

He's not posted since and it looked like trolling frankly.....not even a good one at that tbh.

Re: Marching Fire

Id not thought about 1d6 or 2d6 tbh..... I think its best to keep it simple, a team does 4" and a squad does 6" much like the basic covering fire rule. I think when / if I write it up I will simply state that a team / squad with 2CI can move 1d6 and use covering fire, which I equate to the volume us...

Malaya!

Been playing through the excellent but challenging Malaya campaign with Rich Durnsford and a few questions have come up: The IJA have finally lost a scenario (hurrah!) so now get a replacement Platoon...what carries over outlook wise? Does the CO's opinion remain? How you do calculate the initial me...
