Close combat wirh enemy entering a buiding?

Hi to all! Yesterday happened that a british section charged into a german rifle team which was split. 3 of them with their JL were outside and the other 3 were inside the building. The final british position was within 4 inches of the guys outside, but not from the guys inside. What happens in that...

Advanced rules. Vehicles targeting infantry in buildings

Hi to all: In yesterday's game we had a situation regarding this. We use the advanced rules. So, no vehicle can target infantry in buildings unless they have seen them entering or some other infantry element has told them where they are. Or, of course they reveal themselves by firing. In our game, a...

Re: Winning as the attacker in early war games French vs Ger

Hi! I was not an expert. We have just played like 15 games. But all early war, half 1941-eastern front and the other half 1940-western front 75% of our games have been att-defense types scenarios. And in all cases playing along the length of the table (defending the short edge) We had a balanced exp...

Re: A few doubts after our 1940 french vs germans game

As always, you are of great help!!!! your answers are most welcome! thanks a lot! I will conclude then: VB launchers must have fired the last phase into the same target to be able to enjoy firepower 2 VB launchers have unlimited ammo Snipers & non-core platoon teams cannot spot for light mortars (or...

A few doubts after our 1940 french vs germans game

Hi to all: Yesterday we played a very interesting game with our new french 1940 troops. It was a delaying action scenario, the germans attacking with a sdkfz 222, MMG & leIG18 in support. The french defending with a 60mm mortar, sniper & MMG in support. The game went smooth. The french are fun to pl...

Re: French 1940 platoon Sargeant

Ok! thanks to all for your answers!
I´m having a game today and would put into effect that mod: the platoon sargeant would be treated as an "inferior senior leader" with 2 Command initiatives instead of 3.

Diego

Re: French 1940 platoon Sargeant

Thanks a lot!!!
Being an early war player did not notice that detail about late war platoons with only 1 senior leader.
Thanks again for your speedy answer!

Diego

Re: French 1940 platoon Sargeant

Thanks John!
So, you do only activate the segeant on a roll of 3?
Wheny you have played that way, do you found it to be ok? is not very difficult to waste all those 4´s rolls?

French 1940 platoon Sargeant

Hi! Want to know your experiences with the platoon Sargeant from the 1940 french list. As per the special rules for the french in the list, he is treated as a Junior Leader. http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w503/Powerowner/IMG_0496_zpsf0hygysj.jpg So, its only activated on a 3? and cannot command...
