Re: Colour Pictures of British Infantry & Tanks

Nice photos but I would not be trying to match these or any other 'colour' photos from WW2 on my miniatures YMMV True about colour matching, but they are still good for relative shades. For vehicles, I noticed a couple of things: the presence of a "cammo" scheme on a couple of vehicles and a defini...

Re: Colour Pictures of British Infantry & Tanks

The tank driving on the side of the road also looks like it has a cammo pattern. Either that or someone did a selective wash of the tank before driving around for a bit.

Re: Eastern Front Partisans

"Red Partisan: The Memoir of a Soviet Resistance Fighter on the Eastern Front by Nikolai Obryn'ba" - I have this and read it The big problem is the asymmetrical aspect of this. One side usually has overwhelming superiority. You're going to have to be inventive with the victory conditions to make it ...

Re: Terrain board and 2mm figures

Great work Siggian. Where next? Gettysburg? CarlL Thanks Carl. If I do this again (and that won't be for quite a while, it would be for Antietam, because I have the II Corps painted for the Union according to the OOB for that battle. If I have been smart, I will have painted the opposing Confederat...

Re: Terrain board and 2mm figures

There's 12+ posts in my blog documenting how I did it (and how slow I was in doing it). https://littleleadwarriors.blogspot.com ... -done.html

Terrain board and 2mm figures

After 11 months, I finally completed my terrain board for my 2mm figures. From this: https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AohK7NQ1jSw/XRwgI_1d4KI/AAAAAAAAA88/R6xIX7mwk-c2kcB7fABgE66i0DZNn5yaQCLcBGAs/s640/20190702_192046_resized.jpg I built this https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aMbYC0kH-20/Xtg7mH8QJQI/AAAAAAAABMM/rm...

I hear you TT. I used to stricter about this sort of thing but I've adopted a more a more loose and social interpretation after teaching the rules a number of times. I'd be perfectly happy playing it your way too.

EDIT: by your way, I do also mean RAW.

Re: How many of my squad can fire, or how many figs per cm of front?

FWIW, I believe that Rich allows figures to move as part of an order to fire. I play the same way, but impose the moving penalty of 1/2 dice if they move 1D6 or not firing at all if they move 2D6. The move has to be the shortest move possible into a position where the figure can shoot at an enemy un...

Re: Patrol Phase and AFV questions

For 1, I let the owning player decide which pair of patrol markers to use but not the two that give the widest field. I do allow patrol markers to be used more than once to determine JOP placement if desired, which is nearly the same effect.

For 2, each position is a team, so one CI per team.
