I think that's a perfectly reasonable suggestion, but there are some bookkeeping details that would need to be hammered out. For instance, would add the caveat that the adoption of that Tactical stance should happen at the end of the phase. Otherwise, you'd only ever get one unit's shot off at an e...

One possibility that might work is to allow a unit after receiving fire in the first phase of a double phase to adopt a tactical stance in subsequent phases. Yeah, I think it's sort of a reflection of shoot 'n scoot.

The problem is more one of terminology, similar to "heavy armour"

Basically, it's maybe best to think of carriers as tracked, lightly armoured Jeeps.

Alternatively, for the first turn, give all targets one extra level of cover while it is dark (none = light, light = heavy, heavy = bunker).
