Re: Help with Uni Carrier Recon Section

Agree with Archdukek, there is a Bren in each carrier and each has an option of a Piat or 2" mortar, the issue (to me) is which can they fire? Well, the dice roll will decide that. Slightly OTT, I have a Warlord Carrier Section pack in transit (from Canada where the price is lower than direct from t...

Re: CoC List Updates

If it must be done, it must be done. Looking forward to it. On a similar note, I am reading Moon over Malaya and the Lanchester armoured Cars have a significant role as a support weapon but they don't appear on the Brit Far East 1941/42 list. Should this be remedied? Marmon Herrington A/Cs appear in...

Re: Differences between US M3 and M5 half-track?

Agree with TT in that the Soviet use of US half tracks was as an armoured towing vehicle or even a high level battle taxi, not one for ordinary grunts. The M3A1 Scout Car (wheeled not half track) was used in a similar fashion but predominantly by the Rota Razvedki as their transport vehicle. The Sov...

Re: Some questions.

I suspect that when Rich (& Co) start tarting Fighting Seasons around the early UK shows, we might see some of the force compositions. The article in the Xmas Special will give you some idea of at least one group of Opfors.

Re: Raggruppamento Sahariano AS

I like them but my now pension fund does not fancy being depleted to purchase another 9 vehicles (already have one). I also see that group as being a company sized force rather than a platoon with supports.

Tank response when equal hits and saves

Last night a tank was hit by a PIAT and an equal number of hits and saves were rolled. A 3 or 4 was then rolled as a result which meant that the tank would halt and engage firer in the next Phase. Does the tank fire all of its weapons?

Re: New to CoC - making an LRDG force

That looks good to me. My Osprey LRDG Patrolman book arrived today, now I need to order some Perry Desert Rats and that force can get underway. I think I will order some solar topees and lemon squeezers as well and I will have a mixed force with a variety of headgear. Yes, I know they served in "nat...
