Re: Deadbeat Volley

Would not a large or standard unit in line use the standard volley line?

Or is it the above units (large or standard unit in line) with Fire Discipline or Inferior Muskets use the Deadbeat Voley line?

And then if they are in column or double line they half the Deadbeat Volley result?

Deadbeat Volley

I am somewaht confused by the FAQ in respect to this. Column or Double Line Deadbeat Volley. All Regiments in Column and all Small or Standard Regiments in Double Line halve any casualties they inflict, e.g. a column scoring a 8 on the Deadbeat Volley line causes 2 casualties, this would be halved t...

Weight of ATG's

In our game last night I wanted to manhandle an ATG, looked it up and found that Lights are 2xd6, Mediums are 2xd6-low, and Heavies are 2xd6-high.

How does one know what category a gun fits in, we googled it and decided to apply Heavy to a M1 57mm ATG.

Is this correct?

Thanks,

Re: DO WE HAVE A SMOKE PROBLEM?

I am pretty confident if you do a search on the forum that you will find that Rich has stated that smoke does not block movement or closing to assault. It only blocks LOS for firing.

Terrific job on tank and a real useful read about how to do it.

Re: High Stone Walls and Firing

You'll probably find that the Germans are able to get at least one JOP inside the walls, in which case I think it's reasonable to assume the gate is open or no real barrier. Even if it weren't, AFV vs little padlock is not much of a contest. Well certainly on the left flank for sure, fair enough ab...
